Church Life

We meet every Sunday morning from 10.30am to approximately 12.45pm. We start by catching up and meeting visitors over coffee and cookies. We then spend time worshipping and encountering God. This normally includes singing and praising God together, prayer, encouraging one another with prophetic words and practical teaching and instruction.

Small Groups
We believe that friendships are the building block of the local church. God’s church is all about people, encouraging, equipping, challenging, supporting and caring for one another. As the church grows, it is increasingly important to meet together in smaller groups where we can build close friendships. We encourage everyone who is part of the church to meet in small groups, including students. We currently have 8 small groups which meet together each week.

Students
We absolutely love building a church in a University town and welcoming students into the church family. It is such a key time when you establish your priorities and make decisions which affect the rest of your life. So if you are thinking of coming to Bath or are already here, please do not hesitate to make contact with us so that we can get to know you and also connect you with other students in Living Hope.

Kids
Children are treasured at Living Hope and are a vital part of the church family. Our heart is to see children grow in their relationship with God and to develop great friendships. We enjoy children's faith, spiritual insight, honesty and energy!

We currently have two groups on a Sunday morning:

Typically, on a Sunday morning, all ages stay for about 30 minutes of praise and worship and then Sparklers aged children go out to their groups. Older children remain in the meeting. To find out more please ask one of the children's leaders looking after Sparklers aged children on a Sunday morning.
